In our recent webinar ‘Why NHS Projects Fail: Your Essential Guide to Making It Right,’ we explored the intricate landscape of project delivery within the NHS, shedding light on challenges, solutions, and invaluable insights from industry experts.
The event, chaired by Darren Jones who has held a non executive director role within the NHS for the past 15 years, included speakers working within the NHS and on project delivery who were able to share their expertise.
The panel included:
Sophie Edkins, Associate Director of Transformation at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, offered insights garnered from 12 years of experience in healthcare transformation and improvement. Her expertise in Lean Six Sigma and cross-organizational change proved invaluable.
Michael Shaw, an Independent Consultant and Strategic Leader, shared his extensive knowledge in organisational development and change across diverse sectors, including the NHS and FMCG.
Steve Boam, CEO of Develop Consulting, brought over 20 years of consultancy experience, with a deep understanding of Toyota Production System (TPS) principles. His contributions to national healthcare improvement programs underscored his expertise.
Dan Briscoe, MD and Lean Trainer of click2 learn, rounded off the panel with his background in delivering Lean improvement projects, particularly focusing on the practical aspects of project management in the NHS.
